Project description: Within the project, automated and standardized detection methods for the identification and quantification of bacteria will be developed by means of digital image analysis via the measuring platforms VideoScan and AKLIDES®.
The aim of this project is the development of automated and standardized detection methods for the identification and quantification of bacteria by means of digital image analysis.
With the help of digital image processing, bacteria should not only be detected in a time- and cost-efficient manner. NO - they should also be identified, differentiated und quantified. Since there are no automated and standardized evaluation systems for most microbiological problems available, the aim of the project partners is to provide a reliable, user-independent and reproducible detection and quantification tool of bacteria. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State of Brandenburg (ILB) for the period 2017 - 2020.
